Cliche. The perfect word to describe Wayne and I.
We've been told that our story should be a movie.
Older brother falls in love with little sisters best friend. Can life get any better? Everyone is happy!
Wayne and I have know each other for many any years. But it wasn't until this past summer, when I decided to move to Provo, UT, that Wayne and I would finally (as everyone told us) decide to tie the knot.
We have been close friends for a very long time, thanks to Katrina, his younger sister/my best friend. Katrina and I were immediate friends and became inseparable.
Whenever I had the chance to be at the Christensen's, I was there hanging out not only with Katrina, but the whole family. Which included Wayne.

After his mission everyone, and I mean everyone, was saying that Wayne and I should get married. But we highly apposed the idea. It would be too weird.
We were to much like brother and sister.

But everything changed the summer of 2010. When I got to Provo, Wayne and I started hanging out together. It was a natural thing because we were good friends.
Then one thing led to another. And within 2 weeks we were awkwardly dating.
Yes, Awkwardly. Like I mentioned, we were like brother and sister.
We had to get over the barriers and start being sensitive and touch each other lovingly.
When we were use to teasing and punching one another.
But it didn't take too long. Because within 3 weeks we had already made the choice to be sealed to one another in the Temple.
Within the next few weeks Wayne had to go ring shopping,
because we already had a date set to get our engagement photos done on June 25th.
The night before, we drove up to Yellowstone to visit Katrina and Jedd, because it was Katrina's 22nd Birthday. In celebration we bought her a cake and later decided to go star gazing.
I was somewhat reluctant to go because I was tired and it was cold outside.
But Wayne insisted. A few minutes later we were all laying in a field, where there were bear sightings I may add, looking at the stars. Katrina then stated that she had to go to the bathroom. I also needed to go. But Wayne had asked me to stay, for some odd reason.
Jedd had to drive Katrina back to their apartment and Wayne and I were now
left alone in the bear filled field. Looking nervous and scared. It was now the
time for Wayne to pop the question. The only problem was,
was that normal suave and confident Wayne had disappeared. I had never seen
him so scared and nervous in all the years that I have known him.
After Wayne had finally boosted up the courage to asked me all I could do was laugh.
I know, how can I be so heartless. After I got all my giggles out I finally answered him with a "Yes."
And then to end the night. We saw a bear later that night in the park. Thanks goodness not in the field. And Katrina and I both got our lifetime wish of being official sisters!
